Getting started
Create your Pathora account, verify your email, and reach the dashboard for the first time.
TL;DR — Go to /register, create an account with email & password (or use Google / Apple / X), verify your email, and you'll land on the dashboard. The whole flow takes about a minute.
Create your account
Pathora accounts are free. To create one:
- Visit app.firstexams.co.uk/register.
- Choose Sign up with email and enter your name, email, and a password — or click Continue with Google / Apple / X for one-click signup.
- If you used email, check your inbox for a 6-digit verification code and enter it on the next screen.
- You'll be redirected to your dashboard automatically.
Pathora and First Exams share the same login. If you've used First Exams before, sign in at /login with the same email and password.
Social sign-in
We support three social providers:
- Google — recommended; most parents already have a Google account.
- Apple — iOS / macOS users; uses Sign in with Apple.
- X (formerly Twitter) — useful if your other accounts are linked to X.
The first time you use a social provider we create your Pathora account automatically using the email returned by that provider. You can change the email later from Account & profile.
Verifying your email
If you signed up with email & password, you must verify your email before you can upload papers. We send a 6-digit one-time code that expires after 15 minutes.
I didn't receive the verification email — what do I do?+
Check your spam folder first. If it's still missing, click Resend code on the verification screen. We rate-limit to one code per 60 seconds.
If nothing arrives within five minutes, your email provider may be blocking us — try a different address (Gmail / Outlook are the most reliable) or contact support.
The code says 'expired' — can I still use it?+
No. Codes are valid for 15 minutes. Click Resend code to get a fresh one.
Logging back in
To return to your account go to /login. If you forget your password, use Forgot password — we'll email you a link to set a new one.
What happens next
Once you're on the dashboard, the natural next step is to add at least one child profile. Without a child, you can't upload exam papers.
